Baby changing into breech position?!?!

So my baby boy has been head down for most of my pregnancy. I'm 34 weeks and 3 days and I woke up to what felt like him turning into a breech position. It was painful and very uncomfortable. Is this possible? FTM here

It's possible - if a breech baby can flip to head down days before term (which I've heard of happening) then it's possible for the opposite to happen too.

You should tell your doctor. They should be able to feel where he is and give you an ultrasound to make sure.

Baby can flip around at any point but due to gravity (head is heaviest) and the shape of the uterus it's still highly likely baby will be head down by game day. In fact my doc repeatedly told me not to worry about her presentation until 36 weeks at least.

The couple times that I have felt baby turn head up (only hiccups really give it away) I leaned forward in my chair for a while and felt the hiccups/head turn down again. Sounds crazy but it appears to have worked!

My baby did this two weeks ago at 31 weeks. I'm really upset about it.... it doesn't seem like he will have a whole lot of room to turn back
