Waiting until birth to pick name?

Just wondering how many people waited until their baby was born to pick a name? We have a few favorites but nothing feels quite right yet. It is such a big decision! For those if you who waited, did you "just know" when your baby was born what their name should be?

I know a couple who recently had a son with no name for 6 weeks. He's been named Declan.

We waited simply cause we couldn't agree. Lol he was nameless for 3 days before we agreed that was him! I think it harder after birth cause you look at them then go ...no that's not right for him. Lol

I know a couple who took the entire 30 days allotted by the government and still didn't know what to name their son. It happens. Hopefully it won't take you that long though!

With our first we didn't know the sex and hadn't picked a name. He was nameless for 2-3 days before we were sure. We will probably do the same with this one.

Following. We've got 3 weeks left and I still don't feel 100% about a name. Hubby seems pretty confident with a name but it doesn't give me butterflies or anything when I think of it which I thought I'd feel something special about it. 
Wondering if we should just wait until she's here before "settling" on a name 😔🤔

It also didn't help when a waitress had our top names and we told her we were considering her name as a baby name and she said in an 'ugh' tone "everyone has that name" and she just didn't seem like she liked her own name. Bummer!

We've narrowed it down to 2 names and hope that when we see him that one of them will feel right.

We waited until our son was born. He got his name about 6-7 hours after birth. He didn't have a last name until we walked out of the hospital 4 days later.
