moving to a different town..... without my boyfriend
I live in Michigan. In a super small town, and I want to move to a bigger city for beauty school. That's what I've wanted to do since I started working at a makeup counter.
However, my boyfriend of 3 years doesn't (or "can't" as he says) want to come with me. In fact, when I finally told him I was ready to move to a bigger town for school, I was so worried he was going to be upset. His response was "okay but I'm not going with you" that's all he said. That's all he keeps saying when it gets brought up.
I live him and his mother currently, and I'm so grateful for them, but I'm ready to move on with my life. And I feel Like at 23 years old, he should want to move on with his life too? I don't want to pressure him into doing something he doesn't want to do.
I'm worried that if I move by myself, that we're gonna break up or things are going to be really hard. I don't really know what to think about it.
I kinda just need some advice because I've been feeling really guilty about taking this opportunity for myself because I don't want that to be the reason our relationship ends.
