So I had the first trimester screening and my numbers came back 1:35 chance of having a baby with Down syndrome. My doctor explained that is 97 percent that I will not have a baby with Down syndrome. I had a more accurate blood test done and the results will be in Tuesday. I also was scheduled for a 4D ultrasound today and they said everything looked great and measured perfectly, however markers for downsyndrome typically do not show until later. I am 14 weeks 4 days. I am so so afraid. 1 in 35 seems so bad.
