Whats your stance on a woman smoking weed throughout pregnancy?

Opinions are definitely changing on the use of weed, better improved studies have been completed and its slowly but surely going to be legal everywhere. 
Do you think expectant mothers should stop? Give your opinion in comments pls :)

My last pregnancy ended at 27 weeks, so this pregnancy instantly shot me into the high risk category. I have been a long time medical marijuana patient, and have been working in the medical marijuana industry for quite some time. When I first became pregnant this time around, my PTSD and depression, which started last year after I lost my oldest child, my now one-year-old's twin sister due to prematurity complications--between the depression, PTSD, and added hypremesis g, I couldn't function. I couldn't work, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat...and MOST importantly, I couldn't take care of my son. 
At my first OB appointment at 8 weeks, my primary OB (who is also a family friend) was concerned at my demeanor and appearance, and just overall well-being. After doing the regular check-ups, the very first question he asked (and I could never forget this), was "Do you plan on using medical marijuana to treat these symptoms??" my response was "I hadn't." to which he replied "Why the HELL not?!?" He signed the renewal for my medical card that day, and recommended I medicate as often as needed. My four other doctors (high risk, remember?) approved of his decision, and I've been medicating naturally ever since, every day, whenever I need to. At 32 weeks, my beautiful little boy is healthy, active, and growing stronger every day--and not to mention, he's already beat his big brother by 5 weeks! No more NICU for me! 
While my experience is medical, I have observed many women over the course of many years use marijuana recreationally throughout their pregnancies, and this definitely poses no kind of threat to their child, as confirmed through research. 
What baffles me is, people will defend having WINE, a completely non medically beneficial toxicant just because they want to feel good, but people like me (who use marijuana, either recreationally or medically) are ostracized or their decision. 
I have no doubt that in 10-15 years, people will eat their words.

It's not even about the fact that it's weed; smoking in general depletes the amount of oxygen going to the fetus, which can in turn cause complications/abnormalities. If anything, I would assume eating pot products (if in fact thc does no harm to the fetus) would be fine.

Cigarettes, alcohol, and any sort of recreational drugs (even cannabis) are not recommended during pregnancy.

I live the in Colorado, where it's legal.  I know each state is different but here they test you for a slew of drugs after delivery including THC.  If you come up positive, they test the baby. And if the baby comes out positive then CPS is called and an investigation is open.  If you want to smoke weed that's your prerogative, but don't think that because it's legal in some places that you won't have consequences.  I know I wouldn't want CPS approaching me in the hospital right after giving birth.

I think it's sad that people can't sacrifice something like that for nine months for their child. It's like would you give your child weed once it's born? There are other remedies for nausea and so on and so forth. If medication isnt working try something natural

Let me first say I am a huge supporter of cannabis and everything it can do for a person. Having said that, I think if you get pregnant, you should not intentionally put anything in your body that may cause harm to your baby. That includes alcohol, tobacco, ect. By doing so, you are opening up a whole realm of problems that may happen later on.

Weed is a wonderful thing. Long as you don't smoke while pregnant and are not around your children when under the influence. I function perfectly. I have gone to work high. But I still would never be around my child high. No matter how normal I feel
