Taking off work?

Question

When did everyone take off with their first baby for maternity leave?? I'm 34 weeks, will be 35 this weekend, and just so tired all the time! Wondering when is the best time to start my leave? I'm part time (technically) but my boss continually changes and adds hours to my days. Won't be getting paid leave either... 😕

I'm almost 38 weeks & still working. I plan on working until I go into labor! I have a full time office job and part time housekeeping job.

If you can  afford it,  take off now.

I finished at 30 weeks. I work on my feet all day and suffer with spd so couldn't physically do any more.. I'm in the UK however and get paid maternity leave for up to 39 weeks from 29 weeks pregnant

I worked until I was 40+1. I went to work that Friday with plans on going in on Monday but labor started Sunday night. I would say work up until you physically aren't able to.

I worked Friday, gave birth Saturday at 39+1

I would say whenever you need to. Some people take off earlier and some people wait till the last min. Its how you feel i guess.
