what would you do?

I'm scheduled to be induced Monday at 4pm for medical reasons that I can't remember the name of, but it has to do with the umbilical cord not being attached properly. My doctor checked me yesterday and my cervix was high and closed, but 70% effaced. She said we can still go ahead with the induction even though my cervix is not "favorable," or we can wait a week (40 weeks on the dot) and do it then. She said i might have a better chance at avoiding a c section if I wait, but we can't be sure it will even change in a week. She said she does not feel safe waiting till past 40 weeks because of the issue I mentioned earlier. Here's the other issue: my husband has his parents flying in from Arizona, and grandparents flying in from Wisconsin on Tuesday to meet the baby. (1st grandchild) My husband already has that week off from work, and my brother is traveling to the hospital Tuesday as well. They all said not to make a decision based on them, but I'm feeling kind of guilty because none of them can stay long enough to meet her if she comes a week later. I guess I'm just trying to decide if it's worth it to put the two of us through an induction under unfavorable conditions. I do trust my dr that she wouldn't proceed if it were dangerous for the baby. I'm going to the office one more time Monday morning to see if I've progressed and making the final decision then. But in the meantime... what would you do?
