Does IQ matter and is it accurate?

Comment any thoughts or opinions. I personally feel that you cannot measure every facet of intelligence with a test, and there are a lot of other factors at work.

IQ in itself cannot measure itelligemce and isn't really important but it can give a rough idea of how intelligent a person is likely to be and that is very important

I think it tests a specific kind of intelligence and probably does a fairly good job at being accurate. But I don't think it really matters as much as some would think.  Have you heard of the eq test? I think there are many more factors involved at determining intelligence, and it doesn't equate to worth.

I definitely think it "matters" and that's why these types of test were created. But to use the results for some strange hierarchy is crazy. It is one factor that can accurate be measured where one cannot "score" beauty or wit or creativity.

It doesn't matter but an actual test is accurate. IQ doesn't make your worth as a person any different
