I went to the perinatal doctor and he said our baby girl is measuring 3 weeks ahead. I'm 26 weeks 2 days and baby is measuring at 29 weeks 1 day. Her estimated weight is 2 lbs 12 oz and he says that is significantly more than "average" babies at her gestational age. My first was 8 lbs 7 oz and born at 38 weeks. He says this baby will be bigger and I will probably have to be induced early if she continues to grow at this rate. He says he definitely won't let me go past 39 weeks but I can most likely expect to be induced between 37-38 weeks. Anyone else experienced this? I have to go back for a growth scan at 36 weeks and the dr will decide then what will happen for sure.
