Lets talk birth control

Ok let me give yall a little info lol. I had my daughter about 7 months ago. I bleed for about 6 weeks then after that had two normal periods. Then around July 17th I started bleeding and have not stopped. Usually just spotting everyday. But ever few days its heavy heavy and I just want to lay in bed all day because of the cramps.

I went and seen the nurse at my doctors office and she basically just perscribed me a birth control.

Well one I hateeeeee birth control every one I have taken has made me crazy or have severe anxiety.

Do I take the birth control or wait and talk to my doctor?

Does that even sound like hormonal bleeding?
