So my fertile window was in the middle of a two week vacation with my husband. My fertile window ended and I got sick. Like... really sick. We got back to the States and I was out of work for another week and a half. I had 103* temperature for four days, along with diarrhea and severe dehydration. I tested positive for group B strep in my throat (normal flora in your vagina, NOT your throat. Group A is what causes strep throat.) Well, flash forward to now: been on antibiotics and steroids for a week to control the swelling and kill whatever it was that was making me so ill... now my periods four days late. I've taken three HPTs, all negative. Do you think it's more likely that I was so sick my period is late?? Or should I give up hope I could actually still BE pregnant??? Help 😩
