Skyla... after?

So I got my skyla inserted on Monday. The insertion sucked, but was over in about 5min.. and my bf was there to keep my mind off it too. Anywho, it was on the end of my period, so I was still spotting. The spotting stopped for a day, and just started again. Is this normal? I was so relieved for the spotting to stop, now I'm confused as to why it started again.

I had spotting for 6 days after having it put in. About two days after removal, got my full period and regular cycles since. However, while on it, I still had period-heaviness bleeding for 3-4 days every 2, 3, or 4 weeks - SUPER IRREGULAR! Regardless of that, if I wasn't TTC I'd definitely get it again

My daughter has the skyla and still spots and actually has full periods often to this day and it's been well over 7 months now. After she got it she spotted for about 3 weeks with mild cramping off and on.
