need some advice

I found out I was pregnant on Monday, I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow but I got what looks like a period yesterday.. I went to the doctors and their sending me for an early scan on wednesday but I also have to go back and see my doctor on Monday.. has anyone else had their period whilst being pregnant and was they actually still pregnant after it.. this is so confusing and stressful ☹️
