Your pregnancy journey?

Just curious what people went through- whoever wants to share- in order to get pregnant. I know a lot of people need science these days, have miscarriages along the way, and go through a lot to get there. For others it's easy (sometimes too easy!) and go have to wrap there brain around what's happening on the other side once they find out. I like hearing about the journey- it's nice to appreciate what other women are going through and hear encouraging, relatable stories.

I wanted a baby for months before my husband did. We were using condoms or the pull out method, I had an app on my phone that told me when I was ovulating and would always try to have sex then and tell him not to pull out (he always did though) i thought I must be able to get pregnant with pre cum but it never happened. I thought it would take us ages to get pregnant. The month he agreed to start trying, It happened straight away!

It had been 6yrs since I had my 1st, in which she was a suprise after just one time. Ive been wanting another for awhile but had been on Mirena since I had my 1st. I wanted to get through the rough patches of life first before conceiving again. The stress almost gave me a stroke at 25. After the stress subsided & I was a single woman again I began dating a friend of 6yrs(my daughter entire existence) & Stress decreased to bare minimum. We started dating in Dec, engaged in May, tried conceiving immediately but had a chemical pregnancy in May. I didnt have a cycle for 2mths & when I did it lasted 2days. 2wks later we got married, he deployed & I found out I was pregnant at the very beginning of 5wks since LMP. Because my woman schedule was so unpredictable we decided to stop thinking about it & just enjoy our love & go at it as much as possible before he deployed and it worked. Now 13wks, he's home & we decided to adopt only after this one.

Got married May 2014. Went off the pill that month. Tried for 10 months before I got pregnant. That time took 3 cycles of clomid. He was a preemie and born 8/2015.  When he was 8 months we decided to try again, first month of clomid I got pregnant again. Currently 26 weeks.

I went off birth control in 2014 we weren't trying but we weren't not trying. I was told that I would have a hard time getting pregnant but the hormones in bc weren't doing me any good.

In March of this year I shocking found out we were expecting.

At 20 weeks pregnant my water broke and we had to deliver our sleeping baby boy. One of the hardest times in my life(which I'm still going through)

My original due date is coming up on November 2nd.

On the brighter side we have decided to ttc for baby number #2. We know our little angel is watching over us.

My husband and I have been together for almost nine years, married for almost two. A few months after my father passed from cancer in March of this year we decided that waiting and waiting until we were "ready" was never gonna happen.

So we just said fuck it, and decided to stop using any bc. In May we decided to just let whatever happens just happen. I got pregnant a few weeks later scythe end of June.

I'm currently 17w2d. It's been a wild ride, and I am so grateful that it has been so easy to get pregnant.

I had my IUD removed in May and my doctor warned me that it might be a long process for me because I'd been on BC for 12 years and had some issues with my lady bits... laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, a LEEP surgery to remove a high-grade SIL (precancerous cells) from my cervix, and PCOS.

I had a chemical pregnancy in June (didn't even know what really happened until later). My husband and I took a three-week holiday to Costa Rica in July (where Zika is a threat) so I brought ovulation strips with me to make sure when we had sex I wasn't ovulating. Something there was faulty because...well... here I am! I was shocked when I found out at about 7 weeks. It took another 4 weeks to get approvals for Zika testing and to get the results back, so I finally felt allowed to be excited around 11 weeks, once I knew we were in the clear. We brought back quite the souvenir from our holiday ☺️
