Clomid for poor egg quality?

I'm suffering my 4th loss in 8 months. Has anyone taken clomid for poor egg quality (I don't have PCOS.) and been successful in getting pregnant quickly with a healthy baby? My egg reserve is great, but my RE thinks my eggs are not good. I want to see if she'll let me try clomid. I'm 37, no living children. Thanks.

Hugs to you. I know this story all too well. I had 5 losses in 12 months.  I had all the testing done with no reason for why the losses kept happening.  My first two were completely natural. With the third and forth I took progesterone and with the fifth I had done letrozole ovidril and progesterone. The good news is that I am pregnant now and due in two weeks! When I was where you are at I searched and searched for success stories. I am out here and I believe you will be soon too!  With my current pregnancy I did letrozole and progesterone but opted out the the ovidril and instead saw a acupuncturist regularly and added a number of supplements and a few diet changes. The fertility specialist I was seeing at the time always told me that my next pregnancy had a higher chance of succeeding than failing. It gave me hope. Thinking of you!

I had a low egg count and poor quality. Second round of clomid got pregnant with twins. Almost 31 weeks today and they are doing great

Before I had my daughter last year, I had 3 miscarriages in 26 months. I was definitely ovulating and had an hsg done which showed my tubes were open so my doc wasn't sure what the issue was. ShI prescribed 1 round of clomid 5mg to take on cycle days 5-9 and I got pregnant that cycle and baby stuck (she's 1 now). This was a last resort thing before she was referring me to a fertility specialist. She prescribed it saying sometimes it just helps with egg quality and she was right because even though I was only 28, obviously something was off. I hope you get your baby soon.
