How did you and your Pet meet?

Hi ladies, I'm having just a bad, now I love animals. I was wondering if you ladies would post a picture of your pet(s) and tell me the story of how they became to be yours. My animals are currently being babysat while I'm away and I miss them! But I also love learning everyone's pet stories!

This is when she was younger. I saw her online and I bought her. When she came home she was immediately attached to me. I then found out a few days later that she was hypoglycemic. She had a seizure and we took her to the vet. They said that they don't think she'll make it because she had a bunch of problems. Well now she's over a year and she's healthy and strong.

Macy and I first met online, actually. The picture that I have posted was her shelter photo. Something just clicked for me, I could feel that she needed to be mine. My family all said "she looks so sad" in that picture and she really did! She's so much happier now. 
I went to the shelter and met her. I just pet her and talked to her for about 15 min. My family made me leave and said that if she was still there on Sunday that we could get her. 
Well, Sunday came and she was still there! It turns out that nobody wanted her because she was a polydactyl. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She follows me around and cries for her food like a baby at exactly 12 and 5. I'm so grateful that I saw her on the shelter page. 
She is now 3!

This is my dog axel, I had a dog just like him but different colors for 6 years. He died of unknown causes a few months back and my friend just surprised me with this little guy a couple weeks ago to help me get over the loss 💙

This is Sophie she's 5 months 😍 My friend had a pregnant pug dog and was selling them for pretty cheap .. well I shouldn't say cheap cause it was my whole pay check but they usually cost between 900-1500$ so I only paid 500 for her so cheap in a way. She was only acouple weeks when I got her 😩 she was used to being with all her brothers and sisters , the first night at my house she cried all night I was so sad 😭 but the next day I would play with her and cuddle and she stopped crying and just followed me around . She's so playful and her face is so irresistible to me . They are my favorite breed so I'm just in love with her 💕

This is "my" cat, Hazel-Marcher. We found her with her sister, Lulu-Valentine (the black/white one). When we lost our cat, Blinky, his brother Mr. Bigs became very depressed. So we decided to bring him a cat. We ended up getting these 2 love bugs. Unfortunately, they had kennel cough and Hazel almost died. Her "mother" (our dog Penny) adopted them as soon as we brought them home and bathed Hazel back to life.
It took forever for Hazel to trust us, and rightly so. If you look closely, both her and her sister have the tips of one of their ears snipped off. They were feral. Honestly, I have never met more loving creatures.
A few months ago, Hazel got run over by a car, breaking her toe. She now has 3 legs & is even more sweet.  To this day, I am still the only one she let's hold for longer than 12 seconds.😘😍love U Hazel!

My sweet Luna! We used to foster kittens and we got her when she was only a couple of days old. She was very sick and we had to feed her through a little tube. We thought she was going to have to be put to sleep, but she ended up being okay. We just had to keep her! She's so small but sooo sassy! Love her so much 💕

This is my baby girl Mia. We met about 8 years ago when I was in 5th grade (graduated high school now). My cousin couldn't care for her anymore so my dad and I made the trip to go take her home. She stole my heart the first day I met her.  She has had 2 litters of pups in the past (we kept 2 of the pups; now both are 7 yrs old) so she always has the mother instinct. I have 3 guinea pigs which she thinks are her babies😂. I wouldn't trade my baby for the world. She is a true sweetheart 😍❤️

This is my dog when he was a puppy. I wanted a dog for over ten years. My mom and I went by target one day and this couple was giving away six puppies. My mom couldn't say no this time. It's been 3 years now, and he always brightens my day (:
