When baby sleeps through night..

Question

I am having a hard time waking myself up every 3 or even 4 hours to pump when my son will sleep 6+hours without waking up. 
If I skip a middle of the night pumping sessions, go about 8 hours without pumping but increase my daytime pumping sessions and total time, will my supply be okay?

I don't have a scientific answer but milk supply is related to demand. If you were breastfeeding exclusively on demand (no pumping) and you skip the night feeding, your day supply won't be affected because your body would regulate to provide sufficient milk for baby. I would guess it's the same with pumping.
I only pumped at work to replace the missed feeds but never at night and my supply was fine.

My two cents: pump as much as you can, even if baby is asleep. I started skipping night time pumping and my supply significantly dropped 😞 could've just been me but I was devastated.

I wake up with EXTREMELY heavy breasts and I need to pump ASAP though 😭😅

I was always told that sleep was more important than pumping once baby starts sleeping through.

As long as you're still pumping at least 8 times a day you should be fine

I would gradually drop your night pump (cut back a couple minutes over the course of a week) and increase your day pumps just enough to make up for the night pump you missed. I only pumped during the night (approx 3am) for about 3 weeks and then cut it out completely after a couple of days of doing shorter pumps. I didn't want to have to stay up 30 extra minutes after baby went back to sleep. My supply wasn't affected- I still pump 54oz a day.

Each person is different...I skip my overnight pump because I went back to work in September...just pump as much as you can during the day...it's ok...and drink drink drink alot of water...have the baby lay next to you...keep his blanket on your chest...all these things can help

I've noticed a drop in supply when I don't pump at night. Sucks because he's finally sleeping well, but not me!

You will be fine to not pump, you need your rest! Your body may take a few days to adjust but your body will learn it doesn't need to produce as much at night.
