UPDATE: it is 6:45 am. I had my epidural and have been stuck st 5cm for the last 6 hours 😞 the nurse just came in and said they have scheduled my for a c-section at 9:30am. Unless baby king can do something on his own and I can even get to 6cm I will be having surgery. I am nervous/scared because I don't know what to expect or how bad it will be 😢 does anyone have any advise or insight to how theirs went!? I didn't really have a birth plan and decided to just go with the flow because you never know what will happen in these situations. That has made things with the hospital move a lot more smoothly. Please help...scared FTM!!!.
Came to the hospital at 3:30pm after pretty intense contractions all morning. Checked me to see if I was dilated and I was completely thinned out but only dilated a pen tip size. Turns out after the LEEP procedure I had done 13 years ago left scar tissue that caused me to not dilate at all. The nurses had to force the scar tissue to tear (SO painful I can't even describe because I had no pain meds.!My boyfriend said my entire stomach was shaking and convulsing because I was in so much pain). After that I was dilated to 1. Was checked again and there still wasn't progress because of the scar tissue so they again had to tear more to get me to 2 centimeters 😖😢. If they wouldn't have torn it they would have sent me home. Doc said I could be dilated to a 6 behind the scar tissue so this next check if I'm not above a 2 they will tear more 😫 getting some pain meds before that happens again though and then doc says I should dilate extremely fast. Baby boy will be here soon but he just needs some help because he is stuck! Only feeling good vibes and praying my bubbas make it out safe!! So nervous but so excited!!!! ❤️😊
