help please.

So when I am on my period I have at least one day that my cramps are so bad I cry and hate moving but I am a mother of a toddler and a 9 month old who is trying to learn to walk. Today is one of those days and I've tried everything. I've taken medicine, I've taken a warm bath, I've laid down on my stomach with a heating pad under it but nothing is working today! Can anyone give me anymore suggestions?
