constant pain?

Has anyone had constant pain all day & sharp pains when the baby moves & you were ok? This is my 3rd pregnancy but this has never happened so I'm not sure if I should go get checked or not. I'm waiting to hear back from my ob right now. I've been having contractions off and on all day too but nothing steady and not extremely painful. Just wondering if anyone has had this happened and what was the outcome. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna head to L&D soon just to be safe. Just hate to go and it be nothing 😩
