Medela or Spectra?

I would like to hear everyone's opinions regarding either the Medela or Spectra - I've heard awesome opinions on each, but what is the biggest thing about one or the other that you either loved or hated! I'm stuck on deciding which one I want 😞

I have both and prefer my spectra. It's more comfortable and I like that it has a screen that tells me the vacuum and cycle I'm on as well as a timer. The medela just as a turn knob. I find myself not being able to find the right speed on the medela and it's not as comfortable. My spectra I know exactly what i need to be at and it's digital on the screen in front of me.

I've had both & love the spectra although they only offer a limited amount of sizes of breast shields so I had to order Medela with an adaptor piece.  I love it though, it's quiet, has a massage and expression phase, and it doesn't have to be plugged into the wall (S1).

I love my Spectra! I've used the Medela before and it doesn't compare. Spectra is quieter and smoother suckling pump. It also has a light and a timer so you can see how long you've been in let down and expression mode.

We have the medela pump in style advanced and love it. It's perfect for me. I did notice that the tubing gets condensation and to dry it up I leave the pump on a few minutes after pumping to avoid mildew..

I narrowed it down between the two of them as well. I ultimately choose the S2 based of a lot of reviews. Evidently it is way more comfortable. It seemed like you really couldn't make a bad choice between the two. I also went through Aeroflow and they were awesome.

I personally have not used either. FTM but I've also read online and basically decided between one of these two. After talking to the lactation specialist I'm going to go with the spectra S2 but order the adapters and a few other items from Amazon . That way I can use Medela milk storgage containers and their flanges.

I can say that these two pumps are probably the two most popular ones that people order through Aeroflow (where I work). I don't think you can go wrong with either.
