Help Please

Okay, I honestly didn't know where else to go with this. Anyway, I was supposed to start my period in a few days. For the past couple of days I've been feeling sick (think normal pregnancy symptoms) and then all of a sudden today I woke up to really bad bleeding and excruciating cramps. I've also had a few blood clots. I'm starting to think it's a miscarriage instead of a normal period with how bad my cramps are. Last night I also had cramps that were so bad I couldn't even get up to take a shower with my fiancé. I just wanted to get a second opinion on whether it's a normal period and I'm just being over dramatic, or something more serious.
