sweaty baby associated with SIDS...?

Question

Is it normal for my 10 week baby to swear while he cries, or when he wakes up form his naps? I've been reading and apparently it's associated with SIDS or heart problems. I'm very very worried and I just want to see what you ladies think about this. Please give me some feed back,opinions or experience. Thank you!

I totally agree with you my baby girl is super sweaty !!! When she sleeps when she naps when she cries and when she eats she wakes up in sweatyness. I don't cover her when she sleeps I only have a pj on her and she still sweats. When I read that it has a connection with SIDS I just about had a heart attack my baby sleeps from 11- 4 so six hours and I now stare at her sleep 😢😢😢😢😢

I would be more concerned if your baby was sweating while eating, which would make a heart defect more likely the culprit.  It's never a bad idea to mention it to your pediatrician for peace of mind.

It's perfectly normal for them to sweat when they cry, they are getting worked up. Some babies are sweater than others, overheating during sleep is apparently linked to sids, do you have a water proof cover on the mattress? Sometime these are not very breathable and can cause baby to sweat. Rule of thumb is baby should have one more layer than us on, what is he sleep wear??do you swaddle?xx
