Foley Bulb questions
Has anyone had any experience with a foley bulb prior to being induced? I just had my 38 week appointment and was told my baby boy has moved up higher, that I'm still at 2 cm (have been for three weeks), and my boy is big. I was told I'd have to have this to help push dilation before my possible induction maybe scheduled for Tuesday.
Normally, I have excellent midwives and their patient with me and explain things. Today, I wasn't so lucky and got rushed through my appointment and when I asked questions, she was rude. She even suggested I change hospitals for the doctors convienence. I've been registered and like the hospital I chose because I am familiar with them.
I'm a FTM and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes so I'm already nervous. Can anyone tell me anything more about this and if there are any risks?
