6 wk ultrasound

After two previous 10 wk MCs and a heavy emotional and financial toll trying to find answers it's safe to say I was shaking going to this ultrasound. The good: I knew with 100% certainty that I should be exactly 6 weeks today based on conception date and dr verified ovulation (via sonogram!) and the baby did measure spot on. Yay! We also saw the sac in the uterus which means I'll start today on progesterone and blood thinners to boost this pregnancy. Unfortunately we did not see a heartbeat or a fetal pole, which I know it's early but there was a chance we would and I was really hoping for a win there. Of course look how tiny that spec is, I don't know how anything could be seen! I've heard some women say they had seen it even earlier so I guess I got my hopes up. Basically the tech said it should fire up any minute now but the soonest my husband and I can make the same appointment (sigh I suppose he should be there since I've made the mistake of going alone before) is in 1 week. Any HAPPY stories of not seeing a beat at 6week or beyond but then all worked out well?!
