Giving birth away from family.

Me and my husband are stationed in Hawaii. His family live in Texas and mine like in the UK. None of our family will be around for the birth or after the baby is born.  It makes me sad that we won't have the support of our families. I'm jealous of people who get to have their friends and family around to celebrate. I had my baby shower and only a few people showed up just friends I've made here. My husband will also be going away right after the baby is born for a few months.  I wish I was home so I could enjoy this moment in my life. It's not like I'm depressed or can't handle it it just makes me sad when I think how different it could be.
