Sleeping question

I've been wondering if sleeping through the night is linked to pacifier use? My son will be 8 weeks tomorrow, he is EBF and takes a pacifier, sometimes he will go down without his pacifier, sometimes he won't. He sleeps about 10hrs, but will wake up 1-3 times to eat or get his diaper changed (which is fine). BUT will also fuss/wake if he is sleeping and his pacifier falls out (happens like 15times a night if not more)

My question is for the mom's that have babies who sleep through the night are they using a pacifier ?
