UK moms who don't plan on returning to work?

Question

Any of you ladies on here? I'm due to take my maternity leave end of December haven't given them a return date yet but plan on saying I'll be gone 9 months minimum. I don't plan on returning and will give them two months notice as a courtesy. Does anyone else plan on doing this? What are you plans after?

I heard if you take your leave without telling them your not returning you may have to pay some money back i wasn't planning to go back but I am part time

I have a short term contact so I can't even return even if I wanted to. I plan on being with my baby for a couple of years whilst my partner works.
