Does fetal movement decrease when labor is about to start?

I am currently 39+2 and last night my baby was super active! I have been up for 4 hours and have not felt baby yet! It also appears I have started losing my mucus plug! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Call the triage nurse and let them know. Be safe, but probably about to go into labor 😉

I would call my doctor. Our OB office has a recording that states, "if you have bleeding, think you may be in labor, or feel decreased fetal movement, press 1 to speak to the triage nurse." In other words - don't ignore it, they need to know!

Call your doctor/labour ward. Any change in your baby's movements should always be checked.

My mom said we all completely stopped moving before labor. It scared the hell out of her.

I've had decreased movement for a week now and nothing is happening yet. She's still in the normal range for movement but I've definitely noticed a difference the past week. I was just at the doctor yesterday and everything is fine and no baby yet.
