Bleeding at wrong time

Can somebody please help me with some advice, OK according to two apps I am meant to be ovulating tomorrow and my period should be here in 16 days. According to glow I'm ovulating next week, with my period due in 20 days. However I've just been to the bathroom and only when I've wiped I have had some bright red blood with mucus, any idea what is going on? My last period began the 8th of this month and lasted 3 days. I am really confused!
