Being induced tomorrow!!! Any advice?

I'm being induced tomorrow I'm 38 weeks, I have minor high blood pressure and my platelets are a little low. She wants to induce so it doesn't get worse. I'm scared this is my first. I'm a little over 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. Anybody have advice for me? Is it that bad?

Good luck ! I'm a FTM with mild preeclampsia I'm being induced in 3 weeks 😬😬😬😬 I'm scared as well

Not too bad being induced. it can take way lobger than you thibk so take entertainment for before the contractions hit. a book, netflix etc. walking shoes....

I was induced with my first and I didn't think it was that bad at all. I used the tub for pain management and it helped a ton! I did end up with an epidural at 8 cm's. I personally can't do nauseous and labor at the same time lol so I decided at least 1 had to go and the epidural got rid of both!

Just be patient momma!!!  Good luck!  I was induced with my first and I expected to have a baby that day. Ended up taking 3.5 days!  Just roll with the flow and take a book or something to help keep you busy.

I was induced with my first. And in didn't think it was bad. I did have the newbane  or however you spell it. And I went into a meditative state. From time  they started pitocin it was 6 hrs total. But only 4 of harder contractions and pushing. I know it's hard but trying to keep your stomach relaxed helped me. I'm hoping for a smooth labor this time. I was 3 cm and 80% effaced with my first also. So the fact that you are progressing already is good news for an induction. Good luck mama.
