biracial couples???!!

So I am white and my husband is salvadorian (Latino) I feel like people judge us sometimes wheather they vocalize it or not. Sometime we get "looks" and makes me feel uncomfortable. Is it really taboo to be a biracial couple these days?? I thought racism was a thing of the past...

Noooo lol it's definately not a thing of the past sadly. 
I'm Scottish Italian, my son is mixed race half Nigerian and my husband is Tunisian Arab. You should see the looks we get. You can see people look at me,then my son, then my husband, then back at me. And their little brains are working overtime trying to figure it all out 😩😂😂 
I remember one old lady she stared so long I went into my handbag and offered her one of my son's lollipops I said here have a suck on that while you stare. She scurried away pretty quickly lol.

But I also get a lot of nice comments. People constantly compliment my son and say how handsome he is and how they wish they had his "tan" I cringe sometimes but they mean well.

Racism is SO not a thing of the past... just look at comments and actions during this current election. It's disheartening to say the least - but as long as ignorance exists, so does racism. 
I am the product of a biracial relationship - and I am in a biracial relationship. Variety is the spice of life!! Haha 😁

My fiancé and I are both biracial! He's Mexican and Puerto Rican and I'm black and white! We don't usually get looks because we are like the same skin tone so a lot of people think we are siblings...but both of our parents got crap for their interracial relationship. Racism sucks.

I am in a biracial relationship and if I do ever get stares and all I must just not pay much attention to things like that bc I don't notice them. However I do have a few older drugged out family members that are racist but we don't associate with them. For many reasons other than them being racist lol

Me & my boyfriend also get weird looks when we go out in public together. It’s sad that in 2022 this is something people still find taboo or out of the normal. We just ignore most of the time, but some days we give them something to stare at 😉🤣

I am Mexican and my Husband is Black. We get judged by both race's. But it doesn't bother us because we don't see color. We also tell our kids that they shouldn't care if people judge them. All that matters is that they are good people.

I wish it was a thing of the past but isn't not. Interracial couples are more common than people think. I'm African American and my hubby is Caucasian/White.  We get looks alllllll the time. Sometimes I'm able to ignore people but sometimes I can't help it and I look back. Now that I'm pregnant we get looks more often. Not just looks but legitimate stares. You can't help who you fall in love with...... We just have to teach future generations that there's more to a person than their skin color and where they come from.
