confused boy issues...why?

So I met this guy at a party last weekend and we totally hit it off. Next weekend, me, him, and a couple of our friends are going to a shooting range. I've told him that I have a boyfriend, but for some reason I'm still crushing on him and he's not hiding the fact that he's in to me. I love my boyfriend but why do I feel this way about the other guy? Is going to the shooting range with him next weekend hopefully going stop whatever feelings might come up?
