4 days late

My husband and I were cleared this morning that to TTC after having 4 miscarriages this past year and half. I always use ovulation tests but from the test it says I ovulated way earlier than normally. We had sex 6 times in the window I think was my fertile window. I'm 4 days late and test still say negative. The other times I found out I was pregnant it tested a week to a few days before my period. If I was pregnant would it not show up by now on a test? Am I just late cause I took 3 months off the none intense tracking and sex marathon???
