need to vent

So my bf's mom keeps trying to give me hand me downs from her other grandchildren. I'm a ftm and this might sound mean but I don't want it plus half the clothes she is trying to give is out dated. Am I mean for thinking this? My parents are super excited and has bought a portion of our larger items which they really didn't have to but they are so excited since it's their first grand child. Yet his mom keeps trying to give me like 10 yr old stuff. Ugh! I wouldn't mind if the stuff wasn't so outdated and if they didn't smoke in their house so it all smells like smoke!
