Can a person change?

I'm a very untrusting person. I have had so many people in my life (friends, family, boyfriends) screw me over and take advantage of me. I have never seen anyone in my life change who they are, no matter how much they claim to love me and say they will. Do you think it is truly possible ?

I'm the same way, every year something new happens... but this year I have amazing friends and a wonderful boyfriend. I actually hated my boyfriend when I first met him and same with one of my best friends but now we all are so close and happy! So you never know, life is like a roller coaster, sometimes there's the rough, scary moments, but then you have the fun moments :)
