Waiting to tell siblings?

For those of you who have a child or children already ( I have a 6 year old) how long are you waiting to tell them ?? We have already told the majority of our friends and family but I'm holding off in telling my son incase ( god forbid) anything were to happen in the first trimester... My husband and I are thinking Christmas? What's everyone else doing???

Mine is only 3 years old but she picks up on my vibes immediately! We haven't mentioned in front of her yet and she keeps asking me: mommy is there is baby in your tummy? Which freaks me out, like how does she know?!?! I'm holding off until my bump starts showing this time. I have had too many losses and I don't think she old enough to understand that.

I have a 4 yr old and she was telling I had a baby in my belly before I even knew I was pregnant. This weekend I kissed her goodnight and she told me she had to kiss the baby too and kissed my tummy...I was in awe and I haven't even told her yet. I just keep telling her one day baby. I want to wait to tell her but it's so hard.
