Bio Oil really ok during pregnancy?

I bought huge bottles of Bio Oil today, then looked at ingredients when I got home. Retinal Palimate is on there. I know retinol is a huge no-no, so how is another derivative of vitamin a ok? Has anyone talked to their doctor about this?

Actually anything topical is a little bit absorbed. I don't use it and don't know about the ingredients but ask your Dr or follow your gut. I use coconut oil and vitamin E capsules but have still been getting a few stretch marks.

It's just vitamin A, not retin-A the bad stuff. You're fine. 😊

I used bio oil when I was pregnant with my son and it worked amazing! I'm using it now while I'm pregnant with my girl, no problems and no stretch marks! :)

My midwife is always given free samples because it's a sponsor of something (I forget what) in my country. 
She gets it to give to her ladies but she refuses to. She told me what was wrong with it and I also forgot what that was. 
She uses it in an oil burner as fuel...
