what the heck happened?

I wear two rings on my finger. The other night while cleaning I felt stinging underneath my rings so I took them off and this is what I see.  I have worn a ring on my finger for 5 years so it's like imprinted on my finger and it's not too tight. I've actually lost weight and they feel like they're falling off all the sudden. It stings and burns and I've been putting lotion on it

That used to happen to me with a particular ring, it was soap and cleaning products getting trapped in the crevices of the ring and irritating the skin :(

What were u cleaning with? I would make sure u take ur ring off and make sure to wash ur hand of all the chemicals and dry before putting ur ring back on.

Are you pregnant? This happened in  both my previous pregnancies and my friend told me it happened to her too.

It's usually because you haven't dried under your ring when washing your hands etc and sometimes it can be if your using harsh chemicals and it get stuck under your ring you need to make sure you are washing and drying under the ring to prevent this xx

I wore my fitbit so often that I got that on my wrist. It was because sweat was getting stuck underneath it and irritating my skin because it never got to breathe.
