Not sleeping

Anyone else's almost 11 month old not sleeping through the night? My daughter will be 11 months on the first and still does not sleep through the night. She usually wakes at least once. Everything I've read says that they need 12 hours of sleep at night and were lucky if she gets a total of 7 or 8 with the one time of waking. Not sure what to do at this point seeing as my husband and I really didn't want to do the cry it out method 😕
