Do you think that protesting the national anthem will create big changes in society?

Change starts with one person saying "hey, status quo isn't right"

So maybe there won't be change next week, but the discussion has at least started and people are thinking about it.

Nothing will change and people will Bitch about how offensive it is and then move on with their lives...
Change takes people driven to help one another. Stand up for something together and everyone is on board and promote it from within for a strong bond. Can't have some doing this and some being apathetic. Everyone needs to address the problems and promote awareness to their peers

I think it's an acceptable thing to do, and it gets people talking, but I doubt it will make a big difference unfortunately.

A big LOL to the people who voted no. Probably the same people who quote MLK. There were people who thought sit ins would have no impact and hated Martin Luther King Jr. for starting it, which is why he was eventually assassinated. Now, he and his movement are revered. It's easy to say it will make no change. Protests are not suppose to make you feel comfortable. They are suppose to get your attention, which is exactly what these flag protests are doing.

If they were consistent and all for the same reasons things may change, eventually...but they're not consistent and not every person doing it is doing it for the same reason it started. So, not a lot of people are taking it seriously and see it as disrespect while others just see it as their right to exercise their 1st Ammendment rights and aren't thinking much of it anyways.

Change is a slow process - right now we could say "psh no - nothing is changing" but in 50 years will it be printed in history books that this happened and this got the ball rolling? Who's to say. It could, it could not. Time will tell.
