any maca root information????

Question

Has anyone taken maca root that can advise me when it comes to side effects you may have experienced? I am reading so many conflicting stories online that I'm not sure what to believe. I have a VERY regular cycle, but I heard that maca helps with egg quality and overall fertility. I'd just like to know what your expiriences have been. Thanks in advance ✨

I've been taking it for almost two cycles. I haven't noticed any side effects. Except for maybe some small forehead breakouts, but I think it may be related to a new face cream....

I had terrible side effects that took three months to get rid of after taking it for 6 weeks. I know it works for some women, but I will never recommend it. It caused me to break out all over my chin, worse than I ever broke out. I had heart palpitations and sweated profusely. I smelled bad. I started experiencing manic like symptoms, racing thoughts, euphoria, anger, irritability, insomnia. It was awful.
