Too eary?

I'm really really eager to test. Im like 8-10 dpo and I have 7 days till my period though and two nights ago I had a constant cramp like feeling right smack dab in the middle of my pelvic area, right below my stomach and above my v and idk if that was implantation cramps or what. It wasn't sharp. And I never ever ever have cramps right there. So in just wanting to know if it's too early to test.. Hubby and I have been trying for well over a year. Ugh I hate waiting. And I'm tired of getting all bfn 😟😭
