50% effaced!

Went into triage today due to severe headache and blood pressure. But was negative for preeclampsia 🙌🏼👏🏼 Doctor checked and I'm 50% effaced but no dilation. I never went into labor with my daughter 8 years ago, so things like this are new to me. My scheduled c-section date is 9 days away, but I'm worried my body will go into labor before then. If it does, I guess I'm meeting my little man & surgery will be rescheduled to a sooner date! But was just curious on what experiences you other mamas dealt with being in my shoes? (I'm 37/4)
