Contractions???

Question

FTM @ 38 weeks exactly. I haven't experienced Braxton Hicks/Contractions or any thing similar to what I read they feel like.

So how do I know if I'm having a contraction or not since I don't know what to feel for? 🤔 everyone says something different. Some say it feels like back pain, others menstraul cramps and even some say gas like an upset stomach. Idk what to look for, let alone when to worry about laboring lol

You may be having BH just not feeling them. They help prepare your body for labor.  My contractions felt/feel like period cramps and sometimes when you're going to start your period you feel like you have an upset stomach so I agree with that too.  Back pain can be because of back labor.  Even if you can't feel anything now you will probably feel when you do have contractions.  Especially once they become regular! Also, contractions tighten your stomach so if you can't feel em internally you should feel your stomach tightening!
