what's everyone doing for playtime?

I'm just curious what other mommies are doing during play time? We mostly do tummy time, he lays down and plays with his play mat, and has a couple things he can sit up in.

Exact same!   Or we tour the house and I show him things...  it will be alot more fun when they can sit up and actually play with toys which will happen sooner then later!

She has 2 different playmats she plays with she will usually get bored of one or the other.. we have conversations and I show her different toys.. I will lay her in her crib so she can look at her mobile.. she sits in her sit me up chair.. we sit outside and she loves that it's a change of scenery for her

Mostly the same as what was said. Tummy time for a few minutes (as long as he will tolerate it), read a short book to him, show him different toys and explain their colors and features and help him touch/feel the toys, sing to him, play piano with him on my lap (as best I can while holding him so he doesn't fall off), lay him in his play mat. 
I'm open to new ideas too - any others people have tried and their babies enjoy? 😃

We do tummy time, listen to music and I sing to him, play mat, crib to watch the mobile, if the weather is good we sit outside and he can watch the dogs play. He also goes in his sit me up chair and swing. This toy was a gift and he absolutely loves it. Goes crazy with the colors and music. I sit him on my lap and make him "dance" and clap his hands and he laughs the entire time. So worth it!
