Feel stupid
My work friend asked me my due date months ago and I always maintained "end of October" - I don't know why I blurted this out and maintained it for months - "only three weeks left" on Oct 1.
But then today, the same girl asked me again and I changed my story to due "Nov 11th." She gave me a perplexed look....
I don't know why the heck I lied, it all happened so fast and now I feel really dumb. Who lies about something so inconsequential?
To feel slightly closer than I actually was? Well it feels like sh*t now.
I wonder if she thinks I'm weird or untrustworthy now.
