weird period

Ok so I started my period on time and had my normal symptoms (nausea, cramps, back pain and headaches) but it's been super light. Normally I have to change my pad at least once (I do more but that's the least I would have to do it) and this time it's not even enough to fill one pad (I still change it) it's there when I wipe but just not coming down onto the pad very much. Is that normal? I know there is no chance of me possibly being pregnant and I'm 16 if that matters. I am not on birth control and have never been on it.
