any military spouses?

Any military spouses currently pregnant or have been pregnant before while hubs is gone away? He hasn't even been gone 24 hours & I lay here crying in bed lonely. What are some things you do to keep yourself occupied? Or what do you do to try to not think about it? I'm sure it gets easier but ugh.. We've never been apart longer than 10 days so I'm dying & being over emotional doesn't help.

My husband has been gone majority of my pregnancy and honestly what makes it easier is my dog. Maybe go get a small puppy to keep you company while he is awau and it will be a perfect friend for your little one when he/she is born 😬

I kept myself busy with getting stuff ready for baby. I also had my great friend keep me busy since her husband was in the same command

Im currently 17 weeks and 1 day pregnant and my husband gets deployed next month for 6 months. Usually when we are separated i just find some kind of work to do.

My husband just returned home from spending 12 months stationed in Japan. It completely sucked. We've actually spent a good majority of our relationship living in separate states or countries. I hate it lol Thankfully I wasn't pregnant though. I got pregnant his first month back (this past August). I'd say it gets easier but it really doesn't. It just gets "easier" to manage if that makes sense. You develop you own routines and life. Really take that time to focus on yourself! I finished my bachelors degree, started my masters and started my career while he was away. In addition to getting back in shape and focusing on my mental health.

We found out I was pregnant on a Friday, he left the following Monday for six months. He was retraining in Texas (we were in Missouri at the time). It was really hard, especially because I had never been on my own before and I was finishing my BA with six classes and we have a dog that has lots of energy and I had none. 
I didn't cry so much, but I was sad a lot. It helped keeping him updated with everything and focusing on school and hanging out with the friends I made before we had to move again. (We also started the moving process while he was gone, so ray was fun to deal with.)
It was stressful and lonely but you'll get through it.

How long has he been in the military? How long is he gone? It's best to keep yourself distracted with family and friends, if you don't near family or friends, I would try to make new friends near you, maybe go to a gym or get a job, I know it's hard when your pregnant but you would be shocked who will hire you.
