dreading birth now.

I am 38+4. At our 34 week appointment baby was breech and we were told that they would check again at 36weeks. At 36 weeks we were head down. Yesterday then I had my 38 week appointment and the midwife was not sure which way the baby was lying. They sent me for a scan so we went to the hospital to find that baby is transverse (lying sideways)with hands and feet down. We had to then discuss our options with the doctor and we have opted to try an evc (manually move the baby) this doesn't always work though which would mean we would need a c-section. This is the last thing I wanted as I really wanted a natural birth for a few reasons. I really want me and my partner to go through the birth together and also I am terrified of having a c-section. The main thing is that our little baby is healthy but I just hope the birth goes the way we wanted it.
